In the month since David Bowie passed away, we've seen a number of tributes and covers dedicated to the music icon. The Red Hot Chili Peppers recenlty covered Bowie at a Bernie Sanders rally, while Chris Martin of Coldplay joined Late Late Show host James Corden for a cover. This week, at a tribute concert honoring Bowie in Los Angeles, actor Ewan McGregor took to the stage for a heartfelt rendition on the song "Heroes." Many know that McGregor performed this song in the movie Moulin Rouge an number of years ago.

As part of the 2001 film's "Elephant Love Melody," McGregor and costar Nicole Kidman sing the tune, but this week's performance was live and very emotional. We know the actor is a talented singer, but he really puts on a great performance for the audience at The Roxy. Other featured guest vocalists included Seal and Gary Oldman.

The actor later took to his Instagram account to share a photo of the performance, with a grateful message about feeling honored to be asked to be involved (via UPROXX).
