Courtney Barnett, James Bay, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly and Meghan Trainor are the 2016 nominees for the 58th annual Grammy Awards Best New Artist category -- but only one artist can take home the prize. We'll get to see which of these talents shines at the Grammys Monday, Feb. 15, on CBS, but we're taking a look at who should win as opposed to who will most likely win.

NOMINEES:
Courtney Barnett
James Bay
Sam Hunt
Tori Kelly
Meghan Trainor

WHO SHOULD WIN: Courtney Barnett

The Australian singer-songwriter produced some of the most refreshing rock n' roll tunes of the year with her debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. Barnett's earnest lyrics and nostalgic compositions have allowed her to rise up from indie-rock glory to gain plenty of mainstream attention, hence this nomination.

She isn't a safe bet in the least, and definitely isn't a cookie-cutter artist like the other nominees, but her music is the reason we want her to win this coveted award.

WHO WILL WIN: Meghan Trainor

Again, we don't know why this artist that has been around for years, demeaning her own gender, has made this list, but we're almost certain Meghan Trainor taking home the Grammy this year. If anyone else on the list wins, that would be great. Tori Kelly getting a Grammy? That'd be so fun! The same goes for Sam Hunt and James Bay, but we're pulling for Courtney Barnett, clearly.

Unfortunately, we know how this awards ceremony works, and Trainor is most likely to win.

You know who we want to win, but that doesn't mean the Grammy voters will pay attention to us.
