Morgan Schneiderlin, Manchester's midfielder, told reporters that things are definitely looking up, but the team's focus is what's important now.
"There are a lot of points to take, but football is very quick so we now need to make sure that we win against Watford," he said, according to PremierLeague.com. "We have seen this season all the teams above slip up and all the teams have some bad results. So it is up to us to exploit that. We had a big discussion a few weeks ago, saying the results were not what we expect, but also that it is not only about us. It is about the whole city, about the whole football club. So we need to make sure we place Manchester United in the right place."
Meanwhile, Watford defender Craig Cathcart, who used to play for United, reflected on his team's previous game against United headed into kickoff.
"It wasn't our best game, the first-half especially we were poor but we probably deserved a draw at the end of that match," Catchcart told watfordfc.com. "United have done it loads of times over the years, but it was still disappointing because we thought we deserved something, so hopefully we can go to Old Trafford and right a few wrongs."
