Troy Ave held nothing back in his new diss track "Bad Ass," which was directed at rapper Joey Bada$$. Some lyrics might have gone a bit too far though, when the MC brought up the death of Bada$$'s friend and collaborator Capital Steez's death, which was a suicide. Whether or not you took issue with the harsh lyrics, hip-hop icon Styles P. of the LOX took to Twitter to make sure everyone in the rap game knows that suicide is not something to take lightly. Styles P.'s daughter committed suicide last summer.

For reference, listen to "Bad Ass" right here (via The Smoking Section):

"I got friends that's killing shit, he got friends killing themselves. That speak to your character. We not on the same level, dog," is the line in question.

The song has gone viral and has clearly stirred up some controversy. Styles P. was quick to address the terrible issue of suicide, and how someone that hasn't been directly affected by this form of death has no right to talk about it in any way.

On Twitter, the rapper voiced his opinions of the diss track and made sure that Troy Ave and other MCs got the message. You can check out his Twitter posts right here:
