Rihanna’s latest single, “Work” featuring Drake is riding high on the charts and Brooklyn rapstress Lil Mama decided to put her personal touch on the record. On Saturday (March 5), she released a video for her remix and it’s safe to say that the majority of Twitter didn’t like it.

Taking a cue from one of two videos for the Bajan pop star’s hit, Lil Mama can be seen throwing a basement party of her own, complete with colorful lighting and plenty of dancing. Over the Boi-1da-produced track, Mama kicked things off with a rapped verse and then goes into a sung bridge. She also revealed what she has in store for the year.

“2016, got a lot of music droppin’,” she rapped. “Tell the promoters we gon’ get the club poppin’ / If it ain’t about the money, then we ain’t talkin’.”

Per usual, Rihanna fans and other Twitter users had a lot to say about the revamped track, with mostly unfavorable reviews.

Prior to the release, Lil Mama dropped “Memes” and her “Panda (Remix).” The former finds the America's Best Dance Crew judge firing back at those who used her as the butt of the joke with a screenshot of her crying that went viral last year as internet users added their own captions to the photo.

She previously spoke out on the memes during an interview with the Breakfast Club.

“I was able to relate to the comedy around it,” Lil Mama said. “I wasn’t that deep into it at the moment. When you see something like that you take it with a grain of salt.”
