Some guys buy their girls flowers or jewelry to win them back after a fight... Robin Thicke just names entire albums after his former beau. The "Blurred Lines" crooner is reported to be naming his seventh studio album after his estranged wife Paula Patton.

According to Rap-Up, Thicke will be titling his follow-up to the 2013 smash album Blurred Lines simply Paula. Easiest to go the direct rate, we suppose.

The album, which was reportedly written and produced entirely by Thicke himself, will be released on July 1.

Naming his album after his separated wife isn't the first attempt Thicke has made to win her back in his musical life. Last month, he debuted a brand new song "Get Her Back" at the Billboard Music Awards, which was blatantly about his attempt to get Patton back in his life.

"I gotta get to go, get to go, get her back / I gotta treat her right, I gotta cherish for life / I gotta get to go, get to go, get her tonight," Thicke croons in the track's loungey chorus.

Thicke has also been dedicating performances of his 2007 single "Lost Without U" to Patton.

The Canadian couple were childhood sweathearts, meeting in their early teens at an under-21 club in Los Angeles. Thicke and Patton had been together ever since 1991, finally tying the knot in 2005. They separated suddenly in February, amidst rumors of infidelity and outlandish behavior on Thicke's part.

They have one son together, Julian Fuego.
