Nick Jonas teased on Instagram about releasing a new song through a short video clip and fans didn't have to wait for a long time since Jonas just released a sexy video for new track "Close" featuring Tove Lo. The song is off his Last Year Was Complicated album that will be released on June 10, featuring 12 tracks which include "Good Girls" with Big Sean and "Bacon" with Ty Dolla $ign.

In the music video, Jonas and Lo were in an empty warehouse sitting on chairs while dressed up in earth toned clothing. The chairs were violently separating them from each other every time they try to get close. With every pull, their clothes get ripped off showing some sexy amount of skin before they finally get close and were able to touch and kiss each other, Pop Crush noted.

In a tweet, Jonas revealed that the song is about "how I literally can't open up and be vulnerable with someone," Rolling Stone reported.

"When I first started making [the album], I thought I knew what it would be about. Then I had a breakup," he wrote in a series of tweets about his new album. "Sh*t is too real sometimes … Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard."

Meanwhile, Swedish singer Lo also shared the video on her Twitter account saying, "What an honor to be part of my crazy talented friend @nickjonas' new single #Close!"

The new song and the video received positive feedback both from fellow stars and fans, noting that the music is good while the video is very sexy.

The debut of the new song hit No.1 at Billboard and Twitter Trending 140 chart, being the most talked about new song release for 9 hours from March 24-25. This last time Jonas hit the Trending 140 chart is on Nov. 20 for the track "Area Code," Billboard reported.
