Toby Keith may love this nation to death, but the famed country star's restaurant chain is apparently not a big lover of taxes. And honestly, we can't blame them, but their current debit is rather immense. The New York location of Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, set in Syracuse, reportedly owes the state more than a quarter-million dollars in sales taxes.

As originally reported on the Post Standard of Syracuse, a tax warrant was apparently filed earlier this month seeking $107,000 from the musician's restaurant in the Destiny USA shopping mall located in Syracuse, New York.

And while it proves to be unfortunate, it appears this recent report isn't the chain's first meet-and-greet with the IRS. The very same location allegedly owes more than $145,000 from earlier in 2013.

For those who are unaware, the restaurant chain is named after one of the musician's many hits, "I Love This Bar," off 2003's Shock'n Y'all. Each franchise features a guitar-shaped bar, beers served only in mason jars and some traditional, oh so unhealthy (but probably delicious) southern food. It was originated in Phoenix, Arizona, and currently has 16 locations in 12 states. Five more are supposedly planned to open within the next several years.

We're not exactly sure what the musician is saying about the tax issues. For now, however, it looks like the only choice is to "Shut Up and Hold On." Yep, we know that was cheesy.

To make up for it, have a listen to Keith's single "I Love This Bar," for which the chain was named after. You're welcome!
