Aside from being a guitar hero and a household name, Bruce Springsteen is also a leader of the Church of Rock 'N' Roll congregation wherein during one of his tour stops with the E Street Band in Baltimore, Maryland, Springsteen allowed a couple to get engaged on stage.

While getting ready to perform "I Wanna Marry You" from his The River album, Springsteen invited a couple on stage to steal a few sweet moments on his show in Royal Farms Arena.

"I'm going to turn it over to you," Springsteen said, according to Fox Sports as the man dropped to his knee and asked his soon to be bride to marry him. "Would you do the honor of staying with me for the rest of our lives? I love you so much." In answer, the woman nodded with a yes as both lovingly hugged each other while crown cheered.

Springsteen, 66-years-old, then said, "You are now pronounced in the name of rock and roll, husband and wife." He hugged the couple and posed with them for a photograph. After the proposal, he proceeded singing "I Wanna Marry You" which apparently is perfect for the moment.

The River Tour of the rock star will wrap up its North American dates with two shows on April 23 and 25 at Brooklyn, New York's Barclays Center. After that, the band will be heading overseas for a three month stretch that will kick off on May 14 in Barcelona, Spain, Billboard reported.

Springsteen's show isn't the only recent concerts where couples got engaged. In one of Adele's concerts, she also initiated a proposal by calling a woman on stage to let her propose to his long-time boyfriend, as previously reported by Music Times.
