The countdown is on for the return of the STARZ original series, Power season 3, which airs on Sunday July 17. With only a few days remaining, many of the cast members have been pounding the pavement on promotional tours; doing interviews with radio stations and TV talk shows to let fans in on what they can expect from the new season . Executive producer and co-star 50 Cent recently joined the ladies of The View as a co-host, while Rotimi will be chatting with former 106 & Park host, Free, in an upcoming Facebook Live interview.

It's no secret that fans are highly anticipating the return of Power, and the masterminds behind the show, creator Courtney A. Kemp and executive producer 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, are doing their parts to keep Ghost (Omari Hardwick), Tommy (Joseph Sikora), Tasha (Naturi Naughton) and Angie (Lela Loren) on your mind and on your schedule to watch on its new night, Sunday July 17.

As reported by this ThisIs50, Jackson spoke briefly on the show's return along with other topics when he co-hosted with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Raven Symone, Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris on the July 12 segment of The View. Hardwick, Haughton, Sikora and Loren stopped by the Wendy Williams Show on the same day to promote the third season with Hardwick spilling the tea on how things will go this season.

"...More betrayal, more murder, more mayhem, more problems between me and this guy [Tommy/Sikora]..." he explained during the 15 minute interview.

And another cast member, Rotimi, who plays Dre in the series and also has the collaborative single, "Lotto" with Jackson, will have his day on Thursday July 14 at 3 p.m. during a Facebook Live interview with Free, as announced on her Twitter page.

Even the creator herself, Kemp sat down with Jackson, who also plays Kanan on the Starz original, to do an interview for the ThisIs50 youtube channel and briefly provided more insight and details on the death of his character's son Sean.

(Spoiler Alert From Previous Episodes Below)

In a scenario of life imitating art, Jackson explained how he was effected by killing his son Sean (Sinqua Walls) on the show, due to similar characteristics of his son in real life. "There was a conflict there," Jackson explained. "He was a little sheltered like my son is. It's not a metaphor for him but I was able to draw from that." Sean's death will not only effect Kanan in the new season but, also Tasha (Naughton) who developed a close intimate relationship with him. (A relationship that Jackson described as a controlling "lopside" relationship similar to that of Jennifer Lopez and her ex-boyfriend dancer, Casper Smart.) "It's pretty tough to match women when they have success and they're beautiful women," explained Jackson. "The thing that Tasha would have at that point would be what Ghost is, it's like what Puffy was with Jennifer Lopez -moving and doing other things and everything. But when she's with the dancer down front, there's focus."
