Boys Noize has officially released his North American tour dates for 2016.
The techno-grime acid-punk electronic act has been making waves in the U.S. and Canada over the past few years and has built up to this 15-date tour. The tour also runs through some countries in Europe, and will run until early November.
The artist is reportedly setting up apocalyptic style visuals for her new tour, which were produced by Sus Boy and Lil Internet. These correlate to the themes of his last album, Mayday. The tour itself is a mix of live and DJ sets, with his traditional sound in tow, a blend of hard electro and techno with hip-hop sensibilities.
In other Boys Noize news, the Berlin-based producer released latest hit “Starchild" from his Mayday album with a premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. The song was reported as being more low-key than one might expect from the producer, and also featured vocals from Channy Leaneagh.
The interview with Lowe revealed the process behind the track, and how the producer linked up with Policia for the collaboration. The two were apparently introduced by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver at Eau Claire Festival.
