Flume may have just released his first album in four years in May, but he is already gearing up to release some brand new music later this year. In a new Facebook post, the "Never Be Like You" DJ announced plans to release companion EPs from the Skin recording sessions that will only be released on vinyl at some of his favorite record stores around the world.

The music was written and recorded around the same time as he was putting together his new album Skin, so one might think it would have a similar feel to the album. Skin is quite eclectic in nature with some sugary future bass, hip-hop and gritty instrumentals, so it may not be as easy to pinpoint the direction of these new tracks. He released a 30-second teaser for the first EP, which could be an indication of how it will sound.

The first EP will be released on Nov. 25. Flume did not indicate how many songs would be included on the EP.

This will be the first of an unknown number of EPs that will be released in the coming months, perhaps into next year. He listed out a few of the record stores that fans will be able to find the vinyls including Rough Trade, Phonica, Turntable Lab, Oye, Amoeba, Juno, Red Eye and Boomkat.

Flume released his sophomore studio album Skin on May 27. It has features from the likes of Allan Kingdom, Vince Staples, Little Dragon, Beck and Tove Lo. He has been touring the globe extensively since the LP's release including a long trek across North America right now.
