Back in the spring, Tegan and Sara announced plans for a 2016 headlining trek throughout North America. Last Friday, Sept. 9, the tour finally kicked off with major cities like Chicago, Nashville and Portland on the tour route. The tour will hit 40 stops across the U.S and Canada, with a handful of international dates mixed in, before it closes out in November. Tickets for Tegan and Sara have dropped in price since the start of their tour, and are currently averaging just $89 across all perfomances.

The Quin sisters are scheduled to make stops in cities and theaters like The Majestic Theatre in Dallas on September 15, where tickets are currently averaging $174, and the cheapest ticket is available for $105. On Sept. 29, they will hit one of their two Los Angeles stops, and the performance at The Wiltern is listing resale tickets that average just $89, with the cheapest ticket going for $38.

Tegan and Sara will head to the east coast in November for a major stop at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City. For that date, tickets are averaging $109, with the cheapest ticket available for $41, according to data provided by TicketIQ. Tegan and Sara released their latest album, Love You to Death, in June, marking their second album that featured an emphasis on fun, dance-inducing pop songs. Their prior album, Heartthrob, which they released in 2013, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold 49,000 copies in its first week, marking the duo's highest chart position to date. The record spawned singles like "Closer," and "I Was a Fool."

Tegan and Sara have announced that they will donate one dollar from each North American ticket sale to charitable organizations via Plus One.
