Lido has released the second single "Murder" from his sophomore album Everything. The single and album comes ahead of a tour in support of the LP this fall.

The new single "Murder" tells a story all within four minutes and 35 seconds. It starts out with a soft opening with heavily pitched female vocals and then drops into upbeat, percussion-driven section with some frenetic synths. The track then eases into a break before cascading into an even more frantic drop with more elements that all combine in a chaotic way.

The song ends with soft, beautiful orchestral arrangement with strings and piano that might just bring a tear to your eye.

According to Lido, Everything is a story of a breakup from beginning to end. "Murder" is the beginning of that process.

"Murder is a depiction of the emotional turmoil that one goes through when you're breaking up," he says in a statement. "The track takes you through the story that is a breakup. From the rough and shaky voice in the beginning to the chaotic drop in the middle - it shows what it's like to breakup."

This is the second single to emerge from Everything following "Crazy," released earlier this year.

Lido's upcoming tour has him in Europe for a few gigs to end the month of September. Then he takes October off and heads to North America for two weeks of shows in cities like Toronto, New York City and Los Angeles. Find the full itinerary here.
