Australian synth pop band, Tigertown, have released their new project, the Papernote EP. The four-song EP comes with two solo originals, a collaboration with Filous and a remix of the title track by BØRNS and Tommy English.

The EP comes roaring out of the gates with the infectious title track "Papernote." The quartet showed their ability to write great songs on the Lonely Cities EP and that continues with a double dip of big, synth-filled hooks.

They continue with the somewhat more subdued "Take Me Away" alongside Filous that does not have the same exuberance of the title track, but is just as interesting.

Both of those songs were released as singles leading up to the EP, so the surprise was "What You Do," a cheery, more dancey tune that may lack a little of the invention of the title track, but still has all of the addictive quality they pour into their music.

BØRNS and Tommy English know a winning song when they hear it. So their remix of "Papernote," doesn't change the song much, but slows down the instrumental with almost a Goldroom touch and BØRNS adds some vocals of his own.

In addition to the new EP, Tigertown are gearing up to go on tour across Europe for two weeks in support of Panic at the Disco at a full slate of arenas. The tour kicks off in Milan on Nov. 4 and ends on Nov. 23 in London after a three night run in the city.
