In a day filled with election news (and deservedly so, go vote people), Eric Prydz unwittingly decided to make one of his biggest announcements of the year. The Swedish DJ and producer is bringing his EPIC (Eric Prydz In Concert) live show concept back for its 5.0 edition in 2017, starting with a special one night event in London.

The show will take place at the Creamfields Steelyard on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

He revealed the news across his socials today, saying it was the "biggest and most technically advanced EPIC ever."

A teaser video appears to show the design for his new stage, which seems to take the hologram cube from his 4.0 live show and build on that even further.

The concert is being put with help from Cream and The Warehouse Project. Fans can sign up for pre-sale tickets on their website here.

EPIC 5.0 brings the show back to London where it all began. The first EPIC concert was at Alexandria Palace in 2012 and has since been at various cities across North America.

In a recent interview with Insomniac Events founder Pasquale Rotella on Nightowl Radio, Prydz explained a little behind the concept of the EPIC live show and what to expect from this one. He wanted to do something that was more related to technology, not just fireworks and confetti.

"Whenever the show comes out," he teased, "it's going to blow your head off."

There is no word if there will be more 5.0 shows around the world.

This isn't the only piece of news that Eric Prydz has unveiled recently. His radio show Epic Radio, which has taken a lengthy hiatus as he worked on new music over the past year, will make its return on Thursday, Nov. 10. He also has been teasing some new music under his Pryda moniker, which could come as soon as this month.
