Gerald Earl Gillum is better known by his stage name of G-Eazy. The rapper and producer hails from Oakland, California. He has been rapping ever since 2008 releasing a bunch of singles and mixtapes. But it really wasn't until he released his studio album 'These Things Happen' on June 23rd 2014 that things started to really happen for G-Eazy. And to further hype the album upon release, he embarked on his These Things Happen Tour. The album was an absolute success as it debuted at the number three spot on the Billboard 200 as well as the number one spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. And on February 26th 2016, the album was awarded the status of 'certified gold' by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Since then, he has been touring and releasing tons of new music. So far in 2017, he has linked up with Bebe Rexha “F.F.F. (F*ck Fake Friends),” collaborated with Wale for “Fashion Week,” was recruited by Raekwon for "Purple Brick Road," dropped “Good Life” with Kehlani, partnered up with Carnage for their ‘Step Brothers’ EP, dropped a massive collab with Dillon Francis titled “Say Less,” and released 4 songs on his birthday with "Maximum," “Get Mine,” “Special Love” and “Eyes Closed.”
