Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova are now proud parents to twin babies, a boy and a girl. The couple managed to keep the pregnancy out of the public eye all these months.
Iglesias and Kournikova have always been private about their relationship. There are rarely photos of them out together, whether be it on a date or attending events. That is why it came as a complete surprise when news broke about the arrival of their twins.
The couple reportedly welcomed the twins in Miami on Saturday. Sources revealed that Iglesias and Kournikova named their new bundle of joy Nicholas and Lucy. No other details were provided about the nature of the babies' birth, whether they were delivered by cesarean or natural birth. There is no mention as well on the time the former tennis player gave birth to the twins.
News about Iglesias and Kournikova becoming new parents came as a shock to many. After all, there was no mention about the pregnancy from both parties. The couple also preferred not to publicize Kournikova's baby bump on social media, as other celebrities often do. Kournikova also stayed out of the spotlight or away from the paparazzi, for that matter, in the nine months that she was pregnant. Suffice to say that they have been very private, as they have always been, about the pregnancy.
However, the couple did take to social media recently while they were in Miami. Iglesias and Kournikova each shared their photo on Instagram. It is hard to tell from her photo if she is pregnant. The photo also conceals her abdomen, so there is no way to tell if she has a baby bump under her jacket.

The birth of the twins came after the 36-year-old Kournikova admitted in a previous interview that she would love to have children someday. She shrugged off marriage and preferred to be in a happy and committed relationship.
"I believe in being open and trusting each other and respecting each other completely. I absolutely want to have children, whether I have my own or adopt. I love taking care of people," Kournikova said in an interview with Women's Health in 2011.
Kournikova and Iglesias have been together for over a decade now. They started dating in 2001 after she was paired with the singer in his music video for "Escape." They briefly split in 2013 but has since gotten back together.
