The Duke of Cambridge was asked about his role in Prince Harry's May 19 wedding by U.K. radio host Roman Kemp on Wednesday. He said that he still has no idea because his younger brother has not personally approached him.

In December, rumors swirled that Prince Harry already asked Prince William to be his best man because Meghan Markle's fiancé was also his older brother's best man during his 2011 wedding.

"Harry has several close guy friends, but there's no way he would ask anyone but William to take on the top job," said a source.

However, nothing has been finalized yet, and Prince William is still figuring out what he would do since Prince Harry and Markle's wedding falls on the same day as the F.A. Cup soccer final.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Break Royal Traditions

Markle and Prince Harry's upcoming nuptials are expected to break a slew of royal traditions. For one, it falls on a Saturday, which is not very common among royals.

Prince Harry-Meghan Markle Wedding Entourage

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle still have enough time to finalize their entourage. The Suits alum has not also picked her maid of honor as of late.

There are speculations suggesting that Markle's maid of honor could be Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra. On the contrary, she may also choose a female family member and pick her older half-sister, Samantha Markle-Grant.

Kensington Palace has not confirmed anything regarding Prince Harry and Markle's wedding other than that it will be held at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

However, Markle-Grant is confident that her dad, Thomas Markle, and not her half-sister's mom, Doria Ragland, will walk the former actress down the aisle. If Thomas won't walk Markle down the aisle, her half-sister knows that their dad will be at the wedding no matter what happens.
