The lineup for this summer's Awakenings Festival is up and, as expected, it boasts of some of the brightest stars in techno.

On Tuesday, Jan. 16, the organizers have revealed the artists, ranging from techno and dance legends to up-and-coming new talents, will gather in the Netherlands for three days of non-stop music.

Headliners

Among the artists who will be in attendance is Adam Beyer, a Swedish techno producer and DJ who have been in the industry since the mid-1990s. He has released four albums and EPs, mixes, and singles. He is mostly based in Stockholm, but he plays in major cities around the world including London, Amsterdam, Chicago, Miami, and New York.

Also leading this year's festival is Carl Cox, another legend in the industry. The British DJ has been playing since the 1980s and has performed in renowned nightclubs all over the world. He has hosted the epic music residency known as "Music Revolution" that ended in the summer of 2016 in Space Ibiza. He also runs the record label Intec Digital.

Also performing at this year's Awakenings Festival is Sven Vath, the trailblazer for the techno revolution in Germany in 1981. In 2015, he was honored by his hometown, Frankfurt, with the "Goethplakette," an award handed only to people who have instigated change in the culture of the city.

Nina Kraviz, who has been on the scene since 2008, is a Russian DJ, music producer, and singer. This former dentistry student released the single "Ghetto Kraviz" which has since became one of the top club tracks that has been remixed numerous times.

Beyer, Cox, Vath, and Kraviz will play solo sets on both days.
