After years of inactivity, Thirty Seconds To Mars is back with a new album and a series of concerts in North America.

On Thursday, Feb. 8, the rock band's frontman, actor Jared Leto, revealed that he, together with his brother Shannon and Tomo Miličević, will finally release their fifth studio album this coming summer. The band's last album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, was released back in 2013.

The announcement was made during Leto's appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Right now, the album does not have a title yet but the 46-year-old promised that it will be on sale from the band's official website and on iTunes starting April 6. The album is also now available for preorders.

Thirty Seconds To Mars has already released two tracks from the still-untitled effort: "Walk on Water" and "Dangerous Night."

The rather patriotic music video of "Walk on Water" went online back in August and features homemade Fourth of July celebrations submitted by fans. The clip is a preview of an upcoming documentary called A Day in the Life of America directed by Leto. It was filmed in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. and includes about 10,000 fan submissions filmed in one day.

"Dangerous Night" dropped in January.

With the new album, the actor/vocalist also announced that the band will be performing in a series of shows in North America by giving away tickets to each audience member. The concerts, called "The Monolith Tour," will kick off on June 6 in Toronto, Canada at the Budweiser Stage. The tour will stop by Boston, Chicago, New York, Miami, Houston, San Diego, and other major cities in North America until July.

"The Monolith Tour" will also see performances from Walk The Moon, K.Flay, MisterWives, Joywave, and Welshly.

Tickets will be on sale starting Feb. 16, Friday, at 10 a.m. EST on Live Nation. Each purchase will come with a hardcopy of the new album.

Thirty Seconds To Mars will also hold a series of concerts in Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow, London, and Birmingham this coming March.

Last month, the band also announced the next Camp Mars Festival in Malibu. The three-day event, which will allow the fans a chance to interact with members of the band, will take place from Aug. 11 to Aug. 13.

Camp Mars activities include hiking, yoga, art installations, meditation, games, and music. Tickets are now available on the festival's website.
