The SXSW music, film, and technology festival announces the complete lineup of artists who will take the stage in Austin, Texas this year.

32nd SXSW Festival: Music

South by South West, one of the biggest festivals in the country, annually brings several international artists to perform onstage from all over the world. First off, the festival has already announced that Lyor Cohen, the global head of music for YouTube, will deliver the music keynote address on Wednesday, March 14.

"Over his 30 year career Lyor Cohen has been behind the most prolific musical acts and at the helm of the biggest labels," said Hugh Forrest, SXSW chief programming officer. "Cohen and the additional Featured Speakers announced today continue to define SXSW as the premiere destination for creative people."

Kim Deal of The Breeders and formerly of the Pixies, Common, and the cast of the NBC drama This Is Us are also confirmed to appear at the festival.

Furthermore, Keith Urban has recently confirmed that he will play at Stubbs on March 16 at 11 p.m. The country singer is also set to take the stage to speak about his career in his own panel.

Pandora And SoundCloud To Hold Showcases

Online music streaming sites such as Pandora and SoundCloud will also hold their own showcases at the event.

In a blog post, SoundCloud said that its SXSW showcase will "bring to life" the music discovery experience that is unique to the platform. Its showcase will take place from March 12, Monday, to March 13, Tuesday and will feature performances from several artists including Jay Prince, Melo Makes Music, Party Pupils, and Kitty Cash.

On the other hand, Pandora will hold its showcase from Tuesday, March 13, to Thursday, March 15. The streaming site will bring the likes of Nikki Lane, Tinashe, Amy Shark, and Dashboard Confessionals to the stage.

Over 2,000 Performers From 63 Countries

This year, SXSW 2018 has invited more than 2,000 performers from 63 countries including United States, United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, Norway, Jamaica, Mexico, Japan, Cuba, Philippines, Colombia, and Guatemala.

Some of the artists whose attendances at the event are already confirmed include Crush, A Place To Bury Strangers, A. Sinclair, The Roots, Goat Girl, Bad Gyal, Bully, Sunflower Bean, and Billie English.

SXSW has listed the complete set of performers and their schedules on its official website. The music, film, and technology festival will take place from Friday, March 9, until Sunday, March 18.
