Rob Zombie updates fans with the upcoming release of 3 From Hell.

He uploaded two photos on his social media account on Monday. The first picture featured an angry looking Otis (Bill Moseley) working his magic in front of the camera.

In the second picture, Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) is shown with her hands tied while inside the courtroom.

'3 From Hell' Release Date

3 From Hell serves as a follow-up to The Devil's Rejects. After sharing the photos, the filmmaker hinted on the release date of 3 From Hell. He said that it will not be released this year.

"We're done shooting it. And, basically, the process just stops and waits for me. The film was just basically sit and wait till I get back from tour, which is the end of August, maybe... I don't remember when the tour ends... the beginning of September. And then we'll start editing. And that'll take me through the rest of the year," said Zombie.

During his interview, the musician said that the editing for 3 From Hell will typically take five to six months. Luckily for him, he has a studio at home so the editors will just go to his place to do their work.

Synopsis

3 From Hell will most likely take off where The Devil's Rejects left off. In the finale, the main characters died in the gunfire. This led fans to believe that a sequel will not be possible. However, Zombie just confirmed that there will be one.

There are also some speculations surrounding the use of the courtroom in the first two photos the director released. It is possible that the main characters will be judged in the courtroom in an otherworldly setting for the crimes they committed when they were still alive.

It is also possible for the characters to go to hell and come face to face with Satan.

The cast of 3 From Hell includes Sid Haig, Danny Trejo, Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, David Ury, Pancho Moler, Sean Whalen, Kevin Jackson, Austin Stoker, Tom Papa, Dee Wallace, Richard Brake, Dot-Marie Jones, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Bill Oberst Jr., and Richard Riehle.
