James Gunn lists down the alternate songs that fans could have heard in Avengers: Infinity War. The director gave the tracks to the Russo brothers.

On his Facebook account, Gunn said that he finally had the opportunity to look through his files and found the four alternate songs. He also added a fifth song called "New York Groove" by Ace Frehley and said that it will be included in the film in the future.

The other songs on his list are "Rubberband Man" by The Spinners, "Draw the Line" by Aerosmith, "Train in Vain" by The Clash, and "Caught In A Dream" by Alice Cooper.

James Gunn Congratulates 'Dead Pool 2' Creators

Other than sharing his alternative playlist, Gunn also congratulated the creators of Dead Pool 2 for the success of the film. He paid tribute to Dead Pool 2 by including the Guardians of the Galaxy character Groot in his crossover post.

Gunn also noted that Dead Pool 2 raked in over $130 million at the box office. However, official reports confirmed that the sequel only earned $125 million domestically over the weekend. After its first opening weekend, the estimated gross of the film is already at $130 million.

'Guardians Of The Galaxy 3'

In related news, Gunn will soon begin work on Guardians of the Galaxy 3. The third installment is slated for release sometime in 2020. During a recent interview, lead star Chris Pratt teased what fans can expect from the last film in the trilogy.

"Uhm, I know the story. It's going to be freaking amazing. This is, very intentionally [and] essentially, the wrap-up of a trilogy, and so the first film, the second film, and the third film are each standalone films," said Pratt. "But there's an arc from the first to second to third that will wrap up through the film, and it's imaginative, it's big - it's bigger, better, faster, stronger, and funnier."

Pratt plays the role of Star-Lord in the film. Other cast members include Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Gunn as Maskless Sakaaran, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Vin Diesel as Groot, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, and more

Some of the characters in Guardians of the Galaxy were last seen in Avengers: Infinity War. They played a crucial role in trying to stop Thanos (Josh Brolin) from collecting all six Infinity Stones and using them to inflict danger on the entire world.
