Ariana Grande drops the official music video for "The Light Is Coming," featuring Nicki Minaj. The track is included in the singer's Sweetener album.

The almost four-minute clip opens with Minaj standing in the middle of a deserted and blackened room. She immediately breaks into her rap verse while staring straight into the camera.

After calling Grande's name, the camera pans out to show 24-year-old singer singing while posing in the dark. Grande is clad in an all-black ensemble just like Minaj.

Almost three minutes into the music video, the darkened room shows red lights. Grande says that the light is coming, and it does come out.

"The Light Is Coming" is the second song that Grande released off of Sweetener. Following the release of her two new tracks, Grande also unveiled the cover art for her forthcoming album.

Ariana Grande Explains Upside Down Cover Photo

Grande is pictured upside down on the cover of Sweetener. The singer's fans could not help but wonder why her picture is shown as such, so they asked her about it on Twitter. The singer explained that she was feeling very upside down for quite sometime when she took the photo. Later on, she decided to use it as the cover for her latest album.

The other songs in Sweetener are "Raindrops," "God Is A Woman," "TLIC" (feat. Minaj), "Borderline" (feat. Missy Elliott), "Breathing," "Successful," "Everytime," "Sweetener," "NTLTC," "Pete (Interlude)," "Goodnight and Go," "Blazed" (feat. Pharrell), and "Get Well Soon."

Pete Davidson Confirms Engagement

In related news, Grande also made headlines recently after it had been reported that she and Pete Davidson got engaged. Days later, Davidson confirmed that they have also decided to tie the knot soon. During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the talk show host teased the Saturday Night Live star about not needing to get engaged to Grande to come to his show.

Davidson told Fallon that he felt like he won a contest. He and Grande have only been dating for a few weeks, so news about their engagement surprised a lot of people, most especially the singer's fans.

Couple Makes Their Relationship Instagram Official

Grande and Davidson have never been shy to profess their love for each other on social media. They regularly upload each other's pictures and even incorporate sweet captions.

Earlier this month, Grande shared a snap of herself being hugged by her fiancé. She captioned it saying that she thought of him in her life even before they met.
