Kacey Musgraves goes Mad Men in the retro-inspired music video of her new single "High Horse" from her most recent album, Golden Hour.

The music video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, was released on Thursday, July 11, on YouTube.

Kacey Musgraves Drops 'High Horse'

The gorgeous new music video begins with Musgraves in an office, waiting to get away from her awful boss and boring paperwork. Amid the chaos around her, she begins to daydream about bringing her female friends to the disco where they can let loose and forget about the world.

Also making a surprise appearance is the rainbow dress that she first wore at the Madison Square Garden when she opened for former One Direction member Harry Styles. She wears the gorgeous dress on the dance floor, exactly where it belongs.

The new music video follows "Space Cowboys," "Butterflies," and "Mother." All three are from her new album, Golden Hour, which was released earlier this year.

Kacey Musgraves Talks How Ruston Kelly Influenced 'Golden Hour'

The country singer-songwriter has had a great year. Aside from the release of her new album, Golden Hour, she also married Ruston Kelly in a ceremony in Tennessee in October.

In a recent interview, she revealed that meeting her new husband two years ago completely changed her and her music.

"I met Ruston at the start of [Golden Hour], and everything changed. People were saying, 'You even look like a different person," she shared to People. "I've never had love songs or relationship songs. I write about other things, other people's stories or perspectives. When you're with someone you truly love to the core and they feel that way about you, there's no sense of panic — or that it's going to come apart."

Musgraves added that her life with Kelly is easier, a lot lighter now, and it enables her to do anything she wanted. That includes coming out of her comfort zone and being a bit more experimental with her song.

"And I realized maybe I've been a little over-[self]protected," she said. "Maybe I can let loose a little more, trust more in the songs, what I have at home and out here."

Musgraves is still currently on tour with Styles in support of his solo self-titled debut album. She is also set to perform at the charity concert, 2018 Farm Aid, on Sept. 22.

Her album Golden Hour is now available via MCA Nashville.
