Jeezy accused of slandering Mahi Gebremedhin

Mahi files case before Jeezy's engagement

According to Hot New Hiphop's, Jeezy strongly claims that Gebremedhin is jealous after hearing the news of his engagement with 'The Real' host Jeannie Mai. 

Mahi, however, explained that the case against Jeezy was filed even before the engagement. She also challenged Jeezy's accusations that she had "manic fits." Gebremedhin asked her former partner why he allowed her to be the personal caretaker of their daughter if he had concerns about her mental capability.  

Jeezy's contention that she is given a full-time nanny for their daughter and that Mahi is keeping their daughter away from him and his family were addressed. Mahi clarified that she does not have a full-time nanny for their daughter, and that she always makes sure that Jeezy can see their daughter anytime he wants.

Mahi claims that she has been doing her best to facilitate a relationship between Jeezy and their daughter. She even drives up to 70 miles so they can spend time together. Mahi also tried to foster contact between Jeezy's adult son and their daughter, but Jeezy is doing something to avoid them from having a relationship. 

Bossip reported the details, including Jeezy's court filing. Jeezy apparently bought a $100,000 Range Rover for Mahi. Jeezy is said to have complied with the court order to buy Mahi a new car worth $30,000, but Mahi wanted a car with a higher cost.

Child support agreement between Jeezy and Mahi

Bossip exclusively revealed the motions for contempt against Jeezy, who is said to have failed paying for child support, obtaining a vehicle as part of the settlement, giving life insurance for their daughter, and enrolling in a co-parenting app for their communications. 

Jeezy denied the allegations, Bossip reports. He said that it's Mahi's way to get back at him for getting engaged to Mai.

Their child support should've been finalized in March, but it is back in court after Mahi's request to have the rapper jailed for not complying with the agreement of paying support for their daughter and buying her a car. 

Jeezy battling against Freddie Gibbs

Besides Gebremedhin, Freddie Gibbs came after Jeezy as well. HiphopDX reported that Gibbs called Jeezy "musically irrelevant." However, he noted that he still regarded the Atlanta native a legend.

"Jeezy is musically irrelevant, let's be real, dawg," Gibbs stated. "Did you listen to his last album? No, you fuckin' didn't. He's a legend, but right now, you're irrelevant," he added.
