Fans might know Madonna as the "Queen of Pop" with her tendency to redefine and challenge music norms. However, she is also exceptionally talented in acting and has appeared in a few films before. While her attempt at acting may not be as successful as the established ones, she is still out there confident to take a crack at anything she believes she can achieve and even got a few awards.

Evita (1996)

This might be the lowest rated out of all the movies she was in, but it was perhaps the most memorable. For the role of Eva Perón, Madonna was able to bag the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. The film was based on a musical inspired by the wife of President Juan Perón.

Dick Tracy (1990)

In this film, Madonna plays the cabaret singer Breathless Mahoney. She is more interested in winning the famous detective's heart than putting an end to a syndicate. Since the film was based on a comic strip, Madonna was surrounded by actors who had prosthetics in them to reflect the comic characters. Again, the popstar received a nomination for Best Actress at the Saturn Awards.
