Not more than two months after the horrific Astroworld tragedy, rumors of Travis Scott returning onstage sweeps social media.

With a mountain of lawsuits, pending investigations, and collaboration backouts, it would seem like Travis Scott wouldn't be returning for at least more than a year.

However, rumor has it that the Grammy Award-winning rapper would have his official stage comeback at the Rolling Loud Miami Festival in Florida.

Interestingly, one of the tweets publicizing the festival's pre-sale period appeared to hint Scott's upcoming return to the stage.

"Ragers", how Travis Scott likes to call his followers, have speculated that La Flame would be included in the lineup when it is eventually unveiled next month. The tweet have sparked exciting responses on Twitter as fans clamor for the rapper's return on the Miami festival.

Based on the replies and quotes, fans seemed to anticipate Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and even Kanye West on the much-awaited lineup.

Scott's comeback and its 'legal' implications

It may come as a surprise for some if Travis comes back to the stage less than a year after the 2021 Astroworld Festival. The catastrophic festival claimed 10 fatalities and hundreds of injured when a crowd surge crushed hundreds of people last November 5, 2021.

In the words of one lawyer, anyone who hires Travis would have to pay a lot of money for insurance. Instead of the venue or entertainment company paying for extra security and insurance, Travis would have to pay for it.

To date, reports say that more than $3 billion in lawsuits have been filed against Travis, Live Nation, and other parties associated with the disastrous concert.

Travis and his camp have been doing all they can to solve the matter as quickly as possible. The rapper has issued refunds to individuals who purchased tickets as well as making arrangements for the funerals of those who died as a result of the incident.

As an added bonus, he is willing to cover the cost of counseling for individuals who were directly affected by the disaster.

TMZ also reported that Scott is working together with government authorities and industry leaders to develop a safety plan for communities interested in hosting huge live events, like Astroworld, in the future.

Gift-Giving Drive in Houston

Recently, Travis has made few public appearances after the incident. After her first interview with Charlamagne tha God, he returned to his hometown at Texas. He and The Cactus Jack Foundation gave out toys to over 2,000 less fortunate kids in Houston until Christmas Eve.

The drive comes from the initiative spearheaded by Scott to ensure that a Astroworld tragedy never happens again in the future.
