We won't be talking about Bruno, but we will definitely talk about Disney's Encanto's huge leap at the Billboard Charts.
After winning the 2022 Golden Globe for Best Animated Film, Disney's Encanto is not done shooting for more awards.
The soundtrack of the Walt Disney animated musical film "Encanto" has risen to the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart, where it has increased from No.7 to No.1 in its sixth week on the chart.
It is the first soundtrack to hit No. 1 in more than two years - since Disney's Frozen II soundtrack spent a week at the top of the chart on December 14, 2019, which is also a Golden Globe nominee for the same category in 2019.

Chart positions
Report says Encanto sold 72,000 equivalent album copies in the United States for the week ending January 6. The majority of that unit total was derived from the streaming activity of the set's tracks on various platforms.
"We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "Surface Pressure," from the album, were the most popular songs on the radio this week. Both "Bruno" and "Surface" made their debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on January 8 and are expected to rise on the chart on January 15.
The Encanto soundtrack, which includes songs composed by Hamilton hitmaker Lin-Manuel Miranda, was released on November 19 ahead of the film's premiere in theaters on November 24 in the United States.
Approximately a month later, the movie was made available on the Disney+ streaming service, which is likely contributing to the album's exposure and marketing in the last two tracking weeks.
Following the album's launch on Disney+ a week ago, the album's position in the chart leaped from No. 110 to No. 7.
Notably, Encanto is a rather uncommon example of a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 that did not debut at No. 1. Encanto debuted at No. 197 on the Billboard Hot 100 list for the week of December 11, 2021, and then moved 162-179-110-7-1.
Celebration of Colombia and Colombian Music
Composed by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Lin Manuel Miranda and Latina composer Germain Franco, "Encanto" featured traditional Colombian sounds and colors.
"Mi Encanto" the song Miranda dubbed as the "joyous" music in the movie, is his "love letter to Colombia", sung by Grammy Award Winner Carlos Vives, who had also inspired Lin on writing the same song.
Latin Grammy Winner and Singer/Songwriter Maluma also joined the extensive list of Latino cast for Encanto, with "In The Heights" Star Stephanie Beatriz, who plays the lead "Mirabel Madrigal".
