Travis Scott is officially out of the Coachella 2022 lineup following his Astroworld Festival tragedy.

Last month, Palm Springs' ABC affiliate KESQ and Billboard confirmed Goldenvoice called Scott's performance as the rapper faces multiple lawsuits amid the Astroworld Festival tragedy investigation. The decision followed the existence of an online petition calling on Coachella organizers to remove the rapper from festivals after the incident in Houston.

Over 63,000 people already supported the cause, and Scott officially got replaced recently.

"With the recent tragic and unnecessary death at Travis Scott's Astroworld concert, due to Scott's own gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life, we ask AEG, Paul Tollet, and Goldenvoice to remove his as performer at all of their festivals," the description said.

Billboard confirmed the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival's official 2022 lineup, ultimately snubbing Scott.

The official list of performers includes Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Kanye West, and Swedish House Mafia.

The Latest on Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival Investigation

Prior to the release of the list of performers at the Coachella 2022, Scott suffered from a massive headache after the congressional panel confirmed they were launching a bipartisan probe to look into what happened before and after the fatal festival in Houston.

In a letter the congress sent to Live Nation's CEO Michael Rapino, the committee said they would investigate the events that led to the tragedy.

"Recent reports raise serious concerns about whether your company took adequate steps to ensure the safety of the 50,000 concertgoers who attended Astroworld Festival," the members wrote.

LiveNation has since pledged to cooperate with them and started having detailed security planning with the help of other experts.

They launched the probe after a Houston medical examiner disclosed that the 10 people - ranging in age from 8 to 27 - died after getting suffocated and crushed to death by the crowd.

The lawsuits will also be pushed through even after Scott tried cleaning his name through an interview with Charlamagne Tha God. He also maintained his innocence despite the multiple lawsuits filed against him that he submitted a counterattack instead. There is no current development on the investigation yet.
