On last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, British electronic duo Disclosure performed their hit "Latch" with the song's guest vocalist and co-writer, Sam Smith. You can check out the performance below.
As many have noted, Disclosure's rise to popularity in the United States has been slow but steady. "Latch" was first released as a single all the way back in October 2012 in the UK, with Disclosure's debut album Settle following seven months later in May 2013. However, "Latch" was finally released as a single in the US back in February, and when Sam Smith broke into the mainstream with his own hit "Stay With Me," "Latch" began its own ascent up the charts. The track has since peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the duo its first top 10 hit in the US.
"Latch" was only the first single to be released from Settle, however. Disclosure has since released the tracks "White Noise," "You & Me," "F for You," "Help Me Lose My Mind," and "Voices" as singles as well.
