Hints and Easter Eggs

Eagle-eyed fans do not miss a thing, especially if it involves their idols' upcoming music or even unconfirmed news.

In this case, Taylor Swift's involvement in Ed Sheeran's "The Joker and the Queen" does not go unnoticed as fans had already pieced the puzzle together before it was confirmed last night.

For example, Sheeran's "Overpass Graffiti" video featured a Taylor Swift patch on the back of his jacket, riddled with a joker's face.

Meanwhile, Swifties are convinced that Taylor Swift's "I Bet You Think About Me" music video has deliberately featured an equal sign in the cake.

Some fans even speculated that the single had been planned since 2013, as Ed Sheeran crashed Taylor Swift's Red tour, which befittingly had a circus-themed performance.

However, the last hint had fans in a frenzy when they discovered the words "feat. Taylor Swift" on "The Joker and the Queen"'s official lyric video on February 5, 2022.

The two have frequented their collaborations, which led to their beautiful friendship. Taylor and Ed previously collaborated on three songs: "Everything Has Changed" on Red, "End Game" on Reputation, and "Run," a vault track on Red (Taylor's Version).
