The Super Bowl LVI weekend is coming soon, and here's what we know so far on the biggest weekend for sports and music fans this year.

Announced last year, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Dr. Dre are taking over the 2022 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime performance in what seemed to be hip-hop domination.

Described as an "unforgettable culture moment", Dr. Dre says it will be "one of the biggest thrills" of his music career to perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show.

According to Variety, the highly anticipated concert will be the first time Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will all play on the same stage at the same time.

For the Los Angeles community, this year's Super Bowl event is particularly significant, given that three of the stars named are local Angelenos, and the city is hosting the game for the first time in over 30 years.

One of the three stars who were Angelenos natives is 50-year old rapper Snoop Dogg.

In a recent interview, Snoop revealed that during performing, he "never let the moment get bigger than me".

"After the fact, it's when I'll be nervous about watching it to see what the reaction is. But while I'm going through it, it's nothing.", Snoop says.

Described his "dream come true" to perform in Super Bowl in his hometown, the Ultra-smooth rapper is looking forward to sharing the stage with the other hip-hop legends with whom he is great friends.

Many fans are looking forward because of this grand team-up.

But aside from the much-awaited halftime performance, side parties on the Super Bowl weekend in Los Angele are something that other fans have been waiting too.
