Next to the halftime performance, Super Bowl's next most-awaited performer reveal is the one who will be singing the National Anthem.

For this year, it will be Grammy nominee Mickey Guyton.

Mickey Guyton, born Candice Mycale Guyton is selected to sing the United States National Anthem at the Super Bowl LVI this February 13, 2022.

The country artist took to Instagram to announce the news that she will be singing, in which she is seen up on her toes in a video that was captured in what seemed to be moments after she was notified.

Aside from singing, the "Black Like Me" hitmaker has also been a frequenter on awards shows. Guyton hosted the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards with Keith Urban.

She has also performed her hit "Black Like Me" at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, to which she got her first Grammy nomination for Best Country Solo Performance.

Likewise, Mickey also received the same nomination, Best Country Song and Best Country Album, on the upcoming 64th Annual Grammy Awards in Las Vegas this April 2022.
