Fans rejoice! Two of the biggest names in the pop industry are set to enter in a collaboration - Katy Perry and Madonna. If this pushes through, this will the first time ever that the two will work together and release as song. 

According to an exclusive the Sun UK report, Katy Perry is going to collaborate with Madge or Madonna, who herself has enlisted Katy to be part of an upcoming album containing remixes of her best hits. 

The singer is celebrating her milestone of having 50 No. 1s on the "Billboard's Dance Club Songs" Chart in the United States with this record. 

This is set to come ahead of the 40th anniversary of her breakthrough single "Everybody," in October. 

Her biopic has taken up much of her time, but she has also been in the studio at all hours working on other projects.

As a Katy Perry fan for years, she's always wanted to collaborate with her on a song. 

No concrete details yet have been released, but the insider claims that hopefully, fans would not be waiting too long. 

Madonna and Katy have known one other for a long time, but they have never collaborated on a song. 

There have been combined photo shoots and performances, with Katy even appearing in Madonna's Bitch I'm Madonna video in 2015.
