Nightbirde, born Jane Marczewski, has passed away at the age of 31 after her long battle with cancer.

In a statement released to TMZ by her family on Sunday, the "America's Got Talent" Golden Buzzer receiver died on Feb. 19, after cancer spread to her liver, lungs, and spine.

"It is with the deepest heartache that we confirm that after a four-year battle with cancer, Jane Marczewski, known to many of you as Nightbirde, passed away on Feb. 19, 2022."

Nightbirde was one of the most inspiring contestants of the hit reality talent competition show after bravely sharing her cancer story on the 16th season.

After her health declined, she was forced to quit the show mid-season.

Her family further said in their heartbreaking tribute, "We, her family, are devastated by her passing and unimaginable loss. Many remember her from America's Got Talent, where she performed her song 'It's OK' and inspired millions of people around the globe with her messages of faith and never giving up."

Meanwhile, in another statement by her sister Katelyn Marczewski to The Sun, she voiced out her heartbreak over her sister's death but said she left behind a "legacy of hope and strength that came from her faith in Jesus."

Katelyn said, "Jane truly understood the beauty of life and the importance of living each day as it is given to us."

She added, "We can't always change our circumstances, but in the words of Jane, we are worth more than the bad things that happen to us."

Survived Breast Cancer Once

Jane Marczewski mentioned during her audition for "AGT" that she had previously battled breast cancer and had come out on the other side. She admitted to the judges that she had cancer in various regions of her body, but her positivity won over both the judges and the audience in the audience.

"I have a two percent chance of surviving, but two percent is not zero percent," Nightbirde famously declared. "Two percent is significant, and I wish more people were aware of how remarkable that is."

'AGT' Favorite at First Sight

Nightbirde delivered her own song "I'm OK," for which she immediately got Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer, allowing her to proceed directly to the live concerts in the United Kingdom. She was also given a standing ovation by the rest of the cast and crew members.

Chart-Topper

"I'm OK" by Nightbirde shot to the top of the iTunes charts as soon as it was published, and it quickly became the second most viewed video on YouTube after its release.

The 'AGT' Family Has Been Heartbroken

In response to the news of Nightbirde's passing making headlines, judge Howie Mendel expressed his sympathies and described the late actress as a "bright, inspiring light."

Nightbirde's image was also published on Terry Crews's Instagram page, and he wrote, "We Love you, Nightbirde," on behalf of the whole "AGT" cast and crew, beside the caption.
