The ink has barely dried on news stories covering Katy Perry and her on-again, off-again boyfriend John Mayer reuniting and there's already talk of the couple getting engaged. The Daily Mail says that things are getting serious between the two musicians (who, in addition to their relationship, have been working together in the studio).
An unnamed source told the London paper:
"She's changed his life forever. This is the most serious John has been about anyone and he wants to make it official."
"Their romance is so strong - so it shouldn't be too long before he gets down on one knee," added another supposed insider.
Gossip Cop gave the rumor a plausibility score of 1, meaning it's almost certainly untrue. They cited their own unnamed insider who said that the talk of an engagement was "premature."
