Good news for Slipknot fans! It seems like new music from the metal band is coming out soon as frontman Corey Taylor has shared information about their highly-anticipated album.

In an appearance in Down To Hell, the singer told Doug Bradley that the record is currently in the process of mixing.

The frontman also confirmed that the album is "completely recorded," and they're halfway through mixing it. (watch the full interview below)

Despite not having a solid release date for the yet-to-be-titled record, Taylor assured fans that they're hoping to release it anytime around the summer season.

"I would say probably two or three months [from now]. That's my ballpark. I'm hoping; I'm gonna push to get it out then - maybe summertime sometime," he noted. (via NME)

This is not the first time Taylor teased fans about their seventh album, as he previously opened about it to Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM.

He told the host that "everything is finished" except the mixing part. The artwork is also done, and they already have a title, but he's not going to reveal more information about it anytime soon.

Last month, the metal band released a music video for the single "The Chapeltown Rag." Initially released in November, the outlet suggested that it is expected to be the first single from their new album, but they haven't confirmed it yet.

The last time Slipknot dropped an album was in 2019 titled "We Are Not Your Kind."

Slipknot's 'Knotfest Roadshow'

Aside from working on their record, the band is also preparing to embark on a tour for their famed "Knotfest Roadshow."

They will be collaborating with music acts, including This Moment, Cypress Hill, Ho99o9, and Jinjer.

There will be two tour legs with 20 scheduled dates in different cities across North America.

The first set of dates will begin on March 16 to April 17, while the other one from May 18 to June 18.

Regarding tours outside the United States, Slipknot canceled their shows in Ukraine and Russia due to the ongoing crisis that's been happening between the two countries.

The band shared a statement on their social media accounts, announcing that their shows in Kyiv, Moscow, and Mink are postponed.

Although they're looking forward to seeing the live audience again, they had to cancel their shows to show support to their community and in solidarity with Ukrainian people whom "the struggle continues."
