Michael Buble is back - and better, if one might say, after rumors of him giving up his music career circulated some time back. His new song, and the music video linked to it, made a reference to Taylor Swift too. Fans should certainly rejoice!
On March 25, he'll release his new album "Higher," which he's been promoting with the single "I'll Never Not Love You." The song is said to be the sequel to "Haven't Met You Yet," which was a massive back in 2009. Time flies so fast - it's actually 13 years ago!
Both "I'll Never Not Love You" and "Haven't Met You Yet" were inspired by only one person though.
Despite the time that has passed, the singer is certainly consistent with his love to his actress wife Luisana Lopilato. This time around, Bublé and Lopilato recreated moments from iconic romantic films like "Love Actually" and "Titanic."
In addition, the video includes a tribute to Taylor Swift's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" short film. The singer gave a very straightforward answer why he did that.
"She's an incredible artist and one of our greatest writers. I loved that I got to hit something that for me was so modern and contemporary," Bublé says of his decision to reference Swift's video. "And, yes: Once a Swiftie, always a Swiftie!"
Other Swifties would agree.

"Higher" is inspired by Bublé's muses: Lopilato and their children: Noah, 8, Elias, 6, and Vida, 3. The family is in fact expanding, with a fourth baby on the way. The revelation was made on the "I'll Never Not Love You" video.
Buble said that what particularly inspired him was his and his wife's journey when dealing with their son Noah's liver cancer six years ago. The child is now cancer free, since 2017. The singer said he's just so relieved so the album is coming from that place of gratitude. He said that coming out of that dark place made him want to start fresh with his sounds and leave his comfort zone.
"I was really ready to leave my comfort zone and make an album that was fresh for my audience. I've been waiting for people to hear it. I'd meet people on the street or I'd be at Costco, and someone would come up and say, 'Oh, what are you working on?' I would say, 'Oh my God, I just can't wait for you to hear this,'" he shared.
"Higher," Bublé's finest album yet, commemorates his family's tenacity.
