Korn faced a life-threatening incident before the end of their global tour's US leg in Iowa after their tour bus was hit by gunfire.

Loudwire quoted a report by a news outlet, confirming that Korn's tour bus was parked outside a hotel in Davenport -- particularly in Blackhawk located at 200 E 3rd St. in downtown of the city -- when someone opened fire on the vehicle. A shot reportedly landed on the vehicle's exterior.

A spokesperson for the Davenport Police Department revealed that they received a call on Friday morning about a vehicle that had been hit by a bullet. Luckily, no one was injured after the incident.

Meanwhile, a separate source detailed that the bullet went through the exterior wall of the bus and was found inside the cabin.

The rock band was with Chevelle at the time of the incident. Since they have multiple buses for their tour, it remains unknown whether the band or the crew are using the particular vehicle.

WKBN reported that the authorities launched a probe to determine who fired on the bus and why it happened.

Korn Faced Incident After Members' Health Woes

The life-threatening event happened after Korn began their US tour dates after its members suffered tragic health issues. All five members -- Jonathan Davis, James Shaffer, Brian Welch, and Ray Luzier -- returned to perform in 19 cities across the US.

But before launching the new dates, some of the members sparked concerns due to their health issues.

In August, David tested positive for COVID-19 causing them to cancel their tours.

"On Saturday, we received the unfortunate news that Jonathan tested positive for Covid, and needless to say, we had to postpone the show last minute," the band said. "As a result of his positive test, we also need to reschedule the next handful of shows."

David was able to return at their Tinley Park performance, but his appearance immediately got cut off as he showed signs that he still had the aftereffects of the disease.

After Davis, guitarist Shaffer also contracted the disease in September and drummer Luzier in October.

Fortunately, they all beat the dreaded disease and came back to performing again. After their scheduled US tours, they will jet to Europe, where they will play from May to early July.
