Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins recently passed away at 50 years old, but before his death, he made a little girl's dream come true in Paraguay.

Shocking the entire music industry of his sudden passing, Taylor Hawkins was one of the most beloved drummers in the industry because of his innate talent.

The band shared the tragic news to their 4.5 million Instagram followers last night, stunning fans and the music community alike.

"The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time," the statement reads.

As of writing, neither the band nor the Hawkins' family disclosed any information on what caused the ferocious drummer's death.

However, local media reports that the drummer was found dead in his hotel room ahead of their performance.

Per Rolling Stone, the band is currently on a South American tour where they were scheduled to play in Bogota, Colombia, for the Festival Estereo when Hawkins passed away.

Before going to Colombia, the band stopped by in Paraguay for their performance at the Asuncionico Festival, which was ultimately canceled because of the inclement weather in the area.

Taylor Hawkins Made Little Drummer's Dream Come True

Hawkins and the Foo Fighters are scheduled to perform at the Asuncionico Festival last March 22.

However, because of the worsening weather conditions in the area, the organizers canceled the second half of the day where the band was supposed to perform.

In front of the hotel where the Foo Fighters are lodged, a nine-year-old Paraguay girl went viral as she attempted to get the attention of the Grammy-winning band's drummer Taylor Hawkins by playing the drums impeccably.

Successfully, the girl's dream of meeting the drummer came true as Hawkins visited her and watched her perform.

Forty-eight hours after the inspiring moment came to life, reports of Hawkins' tragic and untimely passing circulated all over social media, which the band has confirmed hours after.
