Yoko Ono and her Plastic Ono Band have a variety of guest spots on the upcoming EP "Take Me To The Land Of Hell," but none bigger than remaining Beastie Boys Ad-Rock and Mike D. Don't get too excited too quickly however; Mike and Ad-Rock only contributed a beat to the song, not any vocals.

The track, "Bad Dancer," takes a celebratory approach to life, encouraging things like dancing even if the protagonist isn't all that good. A prominent one-two bass line encourages listeners to bounce, as Ono does literally through her lyrics.

Other guests on the four-track EP includes contributions from experimental Connecticut, beat-looping act tUnE-yArDs during Tabetai, which features the vocalist taking a similar approach top life, although discussing food rather than dancing. The variants of the Plastic Ono Band on "Take Me To The Land Of Hell" will include Questlove of The Roots, esteemed guitarist Nels Cline and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow. Ono's son Sean Lennon produced the EP.

The vocalist says that her son's demanding nature of production can be irritating, but it is what it is.

"I am very happy with the album, and I'm really starting to appreciate the line-up of this band," she said. "Sean is very finicky, you know? Attention to detail and so on. He's very precise and clear in what he wants from everyone. Of course, now the album is finished I don't want to wait until September. I just want to release it now."

It will be Ono's first release since 2006's "Between My Head and The Sky."
