Elton John revealed what's next in his career after his final tour.

After a long wait, John will finally start his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" next month. It will also serve as the final tour of his career, and it will end with his 2,000th U.S show in Los Angeles in November.

John did not rest in the past months that he started collaborating with other artists, including Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, and Olly Alexander, to name a few.

While his final tour seemingly hints at his potential retirement, the "Rocket Man" hitmaker is reportedly far from leaving the industry.

A source recently revealed to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column (via Tyler Morning Telegraph), that John would continue his career by releasing new music after his final tour.

"The past few years have given Elton's career a new lease of life. It started with his film 'Rocketman', then 'Cold Heart' with Dua Lipa took him to a new level, getting him to No. 1," the source said. "A few years ago he said he wasn't interested in making new music, but over the past 12 months things have changed. A new generation has fallen in love with him and he's never been in more demand."

John is yet to reveal further details bout his new music, but he is currently giving his all before taking off on his final tour.
