Great news for David Bowie fans! The singer's iconic alter-ego/persona, Ziggy Stardust, turns 50 as the song "Starman" was released on April 28, 1972. The track was the first single off the musician's fifth record titled "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders."

To mark the milestone and anniversary, it was revealed that two limited-edition vinyls will be re-released this year.

According to Billboard, the new record will contain all of the 11 original tracks, and bundles will be available for purchase online by Parlophone Records this June 17.

The vinyl will use the same master recordings and promotional artwork from the original release, but the first of the limited vinyls will feature a picture disc of Ziggy Stardust standing in front of a see-through door while wearing a blue jumpsuit.

The second will be a half-speed mastered LP, meaning it has a more accurate sound because the tracks took twice as long to be added to each disc.

The half-speed was cut by AIR Studios' John Webber, while the original one was cut on a customized late Neumann VMS80, per Rhino Store.

All purchases will include a replica promotional poster for the album.

Fans can have early access by pre-ordering today. The vinyls are priced at $24.98.

Per the outlet, "Ziggy Stardust" is the record that defined Bowie's entire career. It became successful in the charts as it peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200.

Following its release, the singer's career skyrocketed, and the rest was history.

The album remains relevant today as it inspired some of the most iconic musicians in the industry, like Lady Gaga, Lorde, and many more.

David Bowie Not the Only Deceased Singer Who Will Drop Limited-Edition Vinyls This Year

David Bowie is not the only musician who passed away that will release a limited-edition vinyl this year as Amy Winehouse's "Live At Glastonbury 2007" will drop in a few weeks.

In early reports, the singer took the Pyramid Stage during a rainy performance at Glastonbury Festival.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the record will be pressed on 2xLP black vinyl. It will also be available in a crystal clear edition.

The album cover features the "Rehab" songstress standing on stage wearing a green top.

The exclusive vinyl will be released on June 3.
