After picking one The Beatles song for his funeral, Ozzy Osbourne also chose one track that made him want to become part of the rock music industry.

From being part of the famous rock band, Black Sabbath, Osbourne went on to try going solo - and he found fortune in that. But before becoming an official rockstar, he reportedly bumped into one of The Beatles' songs that ignited his desire to become a rocker even more.

In an interview, the "Mama, I'm Coming Home" hitmaker said that The Beatles' hit song "She Loves You" completely became a gamechanger in his career.

"I come from the backstreets of Aston in Birmingham and it wasn't a very cool place when I was growing up. I used to sit on my doorstep and think, 'How the hell am I going to get out of here?' And then one day 'She Loves You' came on the radio," he recalled, as quoted by Far Out Magazine.

Osbourne then noticed how the song just turned his head around. So whenever his son asks him what it was like when The Beatles debuted, he always answers that the band makes people feel glad to be alive.

The Beatles Captured Ozzy Osbourne's Heart Completely

Aside from inspiring him to be alive, The Beatles also led Osbourne to prepare for his funeral.

He once told NME that he wanted the band's "In My Life" to be played at his funeral. The track was part of The Beatles' "Rubber Soul."

"I really need a few more years to think this over, but probably something from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or Revolver," he said. "I definitely don't want my f****** greatest hits album - I never ever play that thing, I'm f****** embarrassed about it. And I definitely don't want a f****** happy song - I'm dead."

The band never released it as a single. But "In My Life" album topped the Billboard 200 for six weeks. It went on to appear on the chart for 70 weeks.

According to The Official Charts Company, the same track became a minor hit in the UK. It secured the No. 78 spot in the country in 2010 and lasted there for a week.

Osbourne has been open about his love for The Beatles - although his father was never a fan of the famous rockstars.
