Tory Lanez has a knack for remaining current and creating headlines for whatever reason. His name rang wild after it was said that he shot Meghan Thee Stallion on the foot. It appears extremely uncommon that Tory Lanez is not involved in some form of scandal. This time, someone chose for whatever reason to launch murder threats against him - publicly.

The Toronto-based rapper Top5 should be familiar to fans.

He was on the run after being accused of murdering Hashim Omar Hashi in January 2021, taunting officials with Instagram live broadcasts. He was finally captured by authorities in Los Angeles early this year.

The Toronto police are currently holding the rapper, who is been charged with first-degree murder. Many consider Top5, whose real name is Hassan Abdibarik Ali, to be a monster, and he gleefully embraces the nickname.

In reality, Top5 just posted death threats against Tory Lanez on his Instagram stories, which is typical for someone facing first-degree murder charges and already incarcerated. The gang battle in Toronto is rife, and Top5 is merely one of the numerous rappers involved. Tory Lanez's life may be in jeopardy, but he has other responsibilities, including his lawsuit with Megan Thee Stallion.

A medical report obtained by Page Six revealed that physicians discovered three significant bullet pieces in Megan Thee Stallion's feet when Lanez shot at her feet following a disagreement inside a vehicle in July 2020, but she first declined to report being shot to doctors and authorities.

Needless to say, Lanez is accustomed to having run-ins with the law or with goons at this point.

According to TMZ, Tory Lanez was temporarily detained at the Las Vegas airport a few weeks ago after TSA authorities discovered a "substantial" amount of marijuana in one of his luggage.

Sunday morning, the artist was attempting to catch a flight out of Las Vegas when agents discovered the marijuana. He was temporarily held before being released.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unlicensed firearm in a vehicle, both felonies.

In November 2020, he entered a not guilty plea and rejected the claims.

If convicted, the "Luv" singer faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison. The trial is anticipated to begin in September.
