Atlanta-based rapper Trouble, popularly known for being one of Mike Will Made-It's previous collaborators, has passed away at the young age of 34.

His record label, Def Jam Recordings, confirmed the tragic news on their social media accounts by sharing a statement on Sunday, writing, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, loved ones, and fans of Trouble."

The music giant added that the hip-hop artist was a "true voice" for his hometown and an "inspiration to the community he proudly represented."

As of this writing, his cause of death remains a mystery.

Prior to the tragic news making rounds online, the rapper took to his Twitter account to post, "Its toooooooo many 12 of for me tonight IM GOIN HOME Yall move smoove outchea."

A fan also shared a video on the thread where he was seen hanging out with friends at a bar. One user alleged that he went to a place called "Our Bar ATL" in Atlanta; however, none of his family confirmed if the information was accurate.

His frequent collaborator, Mike Will Made-It, who executive produced his 2018 album titled "Edgwood," also took to his Instagram stories to pay tribute to his old pal.

"Trouble's personality lit up a room and his conversation left you more creative then when you walked in, his accent, dialect, and charisma were of constant discussion when we spoke; usually chats full of laughter," he wrote. (via Rolling Stone)

In addition to the record producer, some of Atlanta's homegrown talents like T.I., Jeezy, 2 Chainz, and Gucci Mane also took to social media to remember the rapper.

Trouble's rapping career started in 2011 when he released a mixtape titled "December 17th." The song "Bussin" became his first-ever famous track.

Later on, the song had a remix with Yo Gotti, Trae the Truth, and Waka Flocka Flame.

His most popular project, "Edgewood," was released in 2018, featuring some of the most prominent artists in the music industry.

His collaborators include Drake for the song "Bring It Back," Migos members Quavo for "Rider," Offset for "Kesha Dem," The Weeknd for "Come Thru," and Boosie Badazz for "Miss Cathy & Miss Coonie."

The rapper's success continued growing as he released his sophomore album "Thug Luv" in 2020. It also featured big artists like Jeezy, City Girls, Jacquees, and 2 Chainz.
