Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez brought their children to a prominent Los Angeles shopping center without spotting any security personnel. They tried to blend in, Jennifer Lopez especially, but all her bling blings cannot really keep her out of sight. She's quite vulnerable to robbery, actually.
This sudden family outing without security personnel may be understandable - because who wants to shop with non-family members just trailing around? Still, it was curious move given that the 52-year-old singer was carrying a $100,000 handbag and wearing an 8.5-carat engagement ring.
Despite one of their kids electing to wear a face mask, the celebrity couple did not wear masks on their weekend shopping trip with their combined five children.
It is clear that the engaged couple was attempting to mimic a typical family by bringing their offspring to the Westfield Century City mall. Affleck's three daughters with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, were present, as were J. Lo's teenage twins with Marc Anthony, Emme and Max, 14.
It is unusual to see the entire family of seven out together, but they were all present for the shopping expedition.

According to photographs obtained by Daily Mail, Affleck and J. Lo were beaming with pleasure while carrying shopping bags across the mall. The star from the film Argo clutched his future wife's hand while they shopped.
The pair, who are thought to have a combined net worth of $550 million, made the unusual decision not to bring bodyguards while visiting one of the city's most crowded malls on a busy day.
J. Lo failed in her endeavor to maintain a casual tone. While dressed casually in a Snow White sweater, khaki cargo pants, and shoes, the Marry Me actress accessorized with a beautiful Hermes Birkin bag and her extravagant diamond ring.
J. Lo clutched her $100,000 Hermes bag made of snakeskin and flaunted her green diamond. The soon-to-be-wed couple's outing with their children appeared to have gone smoothly. Affleck proposed (for the second time) to J. Lo in April, one year after she ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
As talks of their wedding nears, fans are called to not anticipate a ceremony as extravagant as the one that was scheduled in the past, but was ultimately canceled. This time, there have been rumors that Affleck and J. Lo will marry "in secret,"
Obviously, their children will be in attendance for the wedding, but the plan is to make the whole thing much more intimate than the first planned.
