When it comes to the individuals she works with for her albums, it appears like Beyonce is not taking any chances.

According to The Sun, the "Run The World (Girls)" singer has screened producers and rejected tracks from musicians for her new album, "Renaissance," if they have previously faced claims of harassment and violence.

She allegedly took the choice after producer Detail, with whom she collaborated on her 2013 single "Drunk in Love," was imprisoned in August 2020.

Between 2010 and 2018, he was accused of sexually abusing six women and r-ping five others. Detail is now being imprisoned on $5.6 million bail.

According to a music insider who talked to the magazine, Beyonce was "devastated" after learning of Detail's horrible mistreatment of women. As a result, she feels compelled to do #MeToo checks on any possible collaborators.

"Two songs from high-profile singers have been rejected because of allegations they are facing," the insider continued.

"Although neither has been proven guilty," they said, "she's sending a strong message to the business in the aftermath of terrible instances involving celebrities like R Kelly and Harvey Weinstein."

The Grammy winner allegedly irritated several individuals, but she apparently doesn't care since Beyonce just won't get near them if they were accused of troubling claims.

Beyonce is also apparently seeking to set an example by being the "leader in her business," demonstrating that abuse "shouldn't be normalized."

This is also why her latest album is titled "empowering women."

She explained to Vogue, "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world."

'Renaissance' Album by Beyonce 2022

Beyonce's first solo album in six years, "Renaissance," is set to be released in 2022.

According to Tidal, the album will be released in July 2019, and the first single, "Break My Soul," was supposed to be released on June 21, but it was released three hours earlier on Tidal.

"Renaissance" features 16 tracks, with rumors of many more to follow because the announcement is "act I," while rumors of a double album persisted.

Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mother, admitted to ET that the album took "two years of love" and "many, many hours, all night working."
